Licensing, relationships, and what our numbers mean.

Licensing
Compound Health Solutions is an insurance agency. Felipe Casares is a licensed insurance agent, National Producer Number 20658935, licensed in all 50 states. License information can be verified through the National Insurance Producer Registry at nipr.com or through your state's department of insurance.
We are not a government agency
Compound Health Solutions is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any federal or state government agency, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, HealthCare.gov, or any state health insurance marketplace. We are an independent insurance producer. Nothing on this site is an official government communication.
We are a producer, not an insurer
Compound Health Solutions does not underwrite, issue, or administer insurance policies and is not a health plan. All coverage is issued by licensed insurance carriers, and all benefits, exclusions, limitations, and terms are governed exclusively by the policy documents issued by those carriers. Submitting a form on this site is not an application for insurance and does not bind coverage.
Carrier relationships
We work with major national and regional carriers, including Ambetter, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Humana, and others. Naming a carrier on this site does not imply that the carrier endorses, sponsors, or has reviewed this website or its content. Carrier availability, plan designs, provider networks, benefits, and pricing vary by state, by county, and by eligibility. We are compensated by carriers in the form of commission when a policy is placed; this does not increase the premium you pay.
About the savings figures on this site
Employer savings figures shown throughout this site are estimates based on typical program parameters. They assume eligible, participating W-2 employees working 30 or more hours per week who carry qualifying health coverage.
Where we show a gross figure, it is calculated at approximately $1,119.96 per participating employee per year. Where we show a net figure, it reflects that gross amount less a program administration fee of $40 per participating employee per month ($479.52 annually), producing approximately $639.96 net per participating employee per year.
Actual results vary based on employee participation rates, individual wage levels, state of employment, withholding elections, and final plan design. No specific outcome is guaranteed. The calculator on this site is an illustration tool, not a quote, an offer, or a promise of savings.
Not tax or legal advice
Nothing on this website constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice. Compound Health Solutions and Felipe Casares are not attorneys, certified public accountants, or tax advisors. References to sections of the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, ERISA, HIPAA, the ADA, or the Affordable Care Act are provided for general information only. You should consult your own CPA, tax advisor, or attorney before implementing any program described here.
About the Section 125 program
The employer program described on this site is a Section 125 cafeteria plan paired with a self-insured medical expense reimbursement plan (SIMERP) and a preventive care management program. It is administered by a third-party plan administrator. It is not a health insurance plan, does not replace health insurance, and requires participants to maintain qualifying health coverage. Plan documents governing the arrangement are issued to the participating employer.
Supplemental products
Accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, short-term disability, and similar products described on this site are supplemental coverage. They are not comprehensive health insurance and do not satisfy minimum essential coverage requirements under the Affordable Care Act. Benefit amounts shown are illustrative examples of typical plan designs; actual benefits, exclusions, waiting periods, and availability vary by carrier, policy, and state.
ACA and marketplace coverage
Premium amounts described as "as low as $0 per month" refer to the premium remaining after application of an advance premium tax credit, for households that qualify. Eligibility for and the amount of any premium tax credit depend on household income, household size, geographic location, and other factors determined by the marketplace — not by Compound Health Solutions. Not all individuals or families qualify. Enrollment is generally limited to the annual Open Enrollment Period or to a Special Enrollment Period triggered by a qualifying life event.
